Includes UNLIMITED KM (4 days and over)
Includes INSURANCE and NZ GOODS & SERVICE TAX (12.5%).
Confirmation of Rental / Booking Deposit.
Confirmation and supply is guaranteed upon receipt of payment of a 10% Booking Deposit.
Payment.
Is made on the commencement of hire, Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard, Travellers Cheques, Amex, Diners or Cash.
All Drivers.
Must be over 21 and must produce a FULL valid New Zealand or internationally recognised drivers licence at the commencement of hire.
Insurance.
Our NZ$1000 insurance excess may be reduced to NZ$250 by paying a further NZ$15 per day (this is optional). We take a bond (normally a credit card imprint held unprocessed until safe return of the vehicle) to cover this. The excess is increased to NZ$2,000 for hirers under the age of 25 and the reduced insurance is not available. Hires under 7 days do not qualify for the additional insurance
Cancellations/Refunds.
Where a booking is cancelled within 21 days of the commencement of hire, the 10% deposit paid will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Long-Term Rentals.
This service is available by negotiation.
Free Airport Pickup.
Please advise flight/arrival details when making a reservation and the customer can be met by arrangement.
Rental Duration.
24 hours from time of pick up, Additional hours are costed at 1/5 of the daily rate up to 5 hours and a full day thereafter. Payment is to be made at commencement of hire by either cash, travellers' cheques or credit card.
Tax.
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all daily hire prices.
Bond.
A bond is required for all hires. You may be asked to sign a seperate security bond in the form of a Credit Card imprint, or give a cash deposit. This Bond is held by Silver-Fern Rentals and is not banked. It is our guarantee that the vehicle will be returned on time and in the condition that it was hired.
